CIEL is now seeking their next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  

As a member of CIEL’s executive team, the CFO plays a critical role in advancing CIEL’s mission and strategy through effective financial oversight, strategic planning, and inclusive team leadership. The CFO will work with our Board and leadership to ensure fiscal integrity, and will partner with program and development staff to sustain and grow our organizational impact.

Nura is a new philanthropic fund with an urgent challenge: to help reimagine and rebuild the architecture of the global information economy in ways which better serve the public interest, thereby making space for climate engagement and action more possible. Nura combines pooled funding, aligns strategy development, and provides technical support to  supercharge the climate movement’s ability to pursue innovative, scaled, measurable, and impactful strategic communications.

Now entering a period of rapid growth, Nura is seeking a highly experienced and creative Managing Director to work alongside the Executive Director and Chief Strategy and Impact Officer, in order to build, shape and lead the team. The Managing Director will build and lead Nura's operation to enable scaling, innovation and delivery of the mission with excellence. This will involve: building systems and capabilities that enable Nura to make  rapid grants, deliver convenings and contract service providers across the world, appropriately calibrated for a fast-evolving risk and opportunity environment; working with the Executive Director and Nura team to design and recruit a talented global team; and building a dynamic and inclusive team culture that rewards ambition, collaboration and learning; as well as working in close partnership with the relevant teams across the Meliore Foundation, including Grants & Contracts, IT, Finance, MEL, Legal and People & Organisational Development, to ensure that all operational functions are joined-up, efficient, and delivering programmatic impact.

The Bezos Earth Fund is committed to rigorous analysis and assessment as it strives for the highest impact nature and decarbonization outcomes. The Earth Fund is now looking for a technical lead to support grantmaking teams, and provide analytical and decision support across its grantmaking portfolio.

The Earth Fund is looking for a technical lead to provide quantitative, technoeconomic and analytical assessments and decision support for its grantmaking portfolio, inform the Fund’s strategic direction, and support the effective allocation of resources to address nature and climate goals. The position requires an adept and experienced researcher with strong analytical skills and a background in decision support around climate and nature strategies. The Lead – Assessment and Impact  Analytics will collaborate with grant leads across a range of  portfolios, bringing an agile and supportive approach, to enhance the  impact of the Fund’s work. The position will report to the Chief of Science, Data, and Systems Change and work closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead.

Luminate is seeking a  Strategic Litigation Lead with responsibility for driving the organisation’s mission by identifying and funding litigation strategies on technology and human rights issues in Europe. The role requires a great deal of creative thinking and imagination to pave the way for meaningful accountability for tech harms through litigation, using any legal tool available in the toolbox. This is an exciting opportunity to use the law and its smart implementation to help rebalance power, shed light on harms, give a voice to affected communities, and ultimately push for systemic change.
