CEO at the Cooperative AI Foundation

APPLICATION WINDOW HAS NOW CLOSED.

The Cooperative AI Foundation (CAIF) is searching for a visionary leader to shape the organization's direction over the next five years. CAIF was founded in 2021 with a mission "to support research that will improve the cooperative intelligence of advanced AI for the benefit of all."

Since then, advanced AI has progressed rapidly, with much shorter timelines to the integration of advanced agents into society than previously expected. The existing portfolio of activities, research priorities, and even foundational understanding of what cooperative AI means may need to evolve for CAIF to have the impact we're aiming for. CAIF are therefore seeking a Chief Executive Officer who can articulate an ambitious actionable vision for Cooperative AI to guide the organization through its next phase, advancing our mission.
