Flamma, hosted by the Meliore Foundation, is an emerging strategic communications-first initiative to advance gender equality.
Flamma is seeking an Executive Director who brings a rare blend of strategic vision, creativity, and purpose, someone eager to shape and guide this project from its inception and leave a lasting mark on how strategic communications foster gender equality.
This is a defining leadership opportunity for a visionary strategist who believes in the transformative power of communications to drive change. The role is a global hire, open to candidates from and based around the world.
As Executive Director, you will have the chance to shape both the substance and the spirit of a new initiative dedicated to advancing gender equality through strategic communications, partnerships, and narrative power. You will serve as both architect and leader, building this programme from the ground up while shaping its long-term vision and impact. This is a rare opportunity to design and lead a new strategic communications effort with global relevance and deep local grounding.
This is more than a communications or leadership role, it’s a chance to build something enduring: an initiative that challenges inequities, changes narratives, and strengthens the collective capacity of the gender equality movement worldwide.

This role may advise but will not lead fundraising engagement or strategy, or be accountable for identifying funding prospects. We need someone who can envision and build the systems that enable others to develop and manage funding partnerships effectively.
